This is our beautiful gum tree which lives outside my home office window.

We planted it 9 years ago when it was about knee height. It's now a good 40 feet high. It's survived splitting in half during a storm and numerous attacks by neigbourhood cats spraying it!

This was taken in late afternoon and represents exactly the combination of colours I love best about Australia.
